I luv this song , few yrs back i watch "Shraddhanjali" concert with Introduction from Amitabh , Lataji also likes this classic song , she also said " Dharmendra ji bhee edhar hey ( seating in front row) ,Song sung on stage evn sound better .I always play this song .Beutiful !!
Also Amitabh poetic intro of Lata was fantastic.

Post is to remember my friend Rajendra Sabnis , Amitabh fan, in our college dayz he made one photo Album with all pics of Amitji , very popular among us all & his neighbors, I still remember he once bought Olive green jacket with 69 printed on it as seen in Shaan.

We both liked this movie “ Bemisal” , Luv triangle & complex relation with “ Sakhi” Rakhee , for whom Dr. Sudhir makes way for his friend for his friendship as due to obligation for his upbringing .

Scene :

• When Sakhi says “ tum muzhe paa na sake “ that is why u did it , further dialogues.
• When Sakhi ( with grey strings)  , took Sudhir’s  letter (from prison of his release ) hidden under table cover , & walks towards garden  & sat beneath a giant tree & read again with passion. Whole scene specially her affection , thoughts & tenderness while reading that letter was awesome.

Even though her screen name was Kavita , but Amitabh calling her “ Sakhi “  (friend)  was touching , & we both still remember  “ Sakhi” .

Also I like  Vinod Mehra in kurta with white hair on sides , doing penance for his earlier act as a doctor.

Yeh Nazdeekiya with family : Kota 1982

Incident is about Yeh Nazdeekiyan .
I was fond of movies ,specially of offbeat & parallel cinema .
70 ‘s was golden era of bollywood for arty movies also other than commercial .Video fever was at it's peak , we used to rent video recorders to watch video's. Yeh Nazdeekiyan was released but since it was an offbeat movie , cinema theatres ( total 5 )  were not interested in such movie.
I arranged video cassette & we ( me, my mother , my both sis , my elder bhabi , my bro was not interested ) all were sitting in our big hall & , then movie begin . up to 1/2 hr no problem , then one by one many steamy scenes started appearing  between Mark Zuber & Shabana/Parveen.
I was embarrassed ,  in that awkward situation , none of us  came fwd to stop the movie , then I fwd many such scenes .Later on they all made fun of me , even my sis told my friends also of the incident.

I still remember , & laugh on myself for the situation i put myself in.

My Mother :Fruits .Place : Kota 1970’s.

She was working as a teacher in Western Railways school , used to commute by walk .Dad was retired & having our clinic ,we were normal well to do Avg. family . My mother was having the habit of bringing either Fruits or some eatable while coming back from school daily evening, those days fruits/sweet/ice cream etc were not always kept @home ( like in today’s refrigerators).We all bro/sis used to wait eagerly for her ,in the evening , so that we can have something. Even buying eatables from market or from vendors , who used to pass in front of our home , it did not give that pleasure ,what we used to get from her daily stuff .I ( also we bro/sis) still cherish memory of those dayz & Thanks her for bringing world’s tastiest Délicieux eatables , Thanks also for carrying weight @50+ yr by walk for >1 KM. Now a dayz such things are immaterial & we have to force kids to eat something.
